GUTRAFT

Sodium Alginate, Sodium Bicarbonate & Calcium Carbonate Oral Suspension

Quick Relief from Acidity, Gas & Heartburn

GUTRAFT is a fast-acting oral suspension specially formulated to neutralize stomach acid and relieve symptoms of acid reflux, heartburn, gas, and indigestion.

 

With a combination of Sodium Alginate, Sodium Bicarbonate, and Calcium Carbonate, GUTRAFT provides a protective barrier that helps soothe the digestive tract and prevent acid backflow.

Indications – When to Use GUTRAFT 

GUTRAFT is indicated for:

  • Acidity & Gas Relief

  • Heartburn and chest discomfort due to reflux

  • Indigestion and post-meal bloating

  • Gastroesophageal Reflux Symptoms (GERD)

How It Works

  • Sodium Alginate: Forms a protective, floating gel barrier over the stomach contents to prevent reflux.

  • Sodium Bicarbonate: Neutralizes excess stomach acid rapidly.

  • Calcium Carbonate: Provides long-lasting acid buffering and additional protection to the esophagus and stomach lining.

  • Together, they create a raft-like barrier that floats on the stomach contents to prevent acid from rising up into the esophagus.

Side
Effects

GUTRAFT is generally well-tolerated. Rare effects may include:

​

  • Bloating

  • Mild constipation

  • Belching


Discontinue use and seek medical advice if you experience persistent or severe symptoms.

Dosage & Administration

  • Adults & Children (12+ years): 10–20 ml after meals and at bedtime, up to 4 times daily​

  • Children (6–12 years): As directed by a physician

  • Shake well before use

  • Use the provided measuring cap or spoon

Warnings & Precautions

  • Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients

  • Use with caution in patients with:

    • Kidney issues (nephrocalcinosis, kidney stones)

    • Heart failure, hypertension, or edema

    • Sodium-restricted diets

  • Maintain a 2-hour gap between GUTRAFT and other medications to avoid interaction
